Dear friend, I have something that I wish to share with you, if you have the time and patience. It is the most amazing story ever…the story of our redemption.
The story starts back in eternity past, before anything was created…and before any other created being existed except the Father YAHUAH AND His Son YAHUSHA, who both existed at that time as Benevolent Spirit Beings.
As Father and Son, they shared the same substantial nature, character attributes and their relationship was an immensely affectionate relationship that far surpassed the depths of eternity. Their co-existence was bound up in love and such love was the foremost character attribute that illuminated their glorious existence.
YAHUSHA the Son had existed with the Father YAHUAH as a Spirit Being, just as the Father is a Spirit Being… “In the beginning was the Word (YAHUSHA), the Word was with YAHUAH (the Father), and the Word was Himself also Eloah (God).” (Yohanan/John 1:1) But at some point in eternity past, before anything else was created, the Father and His Son covenanted to create mankind…intelligent beings that would exist with the ability to think and act independently.
However, this prospect also brought with it considerable risk to the beings they would create, should these beings they were to create ever choose to fall into sin. If ever this where to happen, mankind would cease to exist because sin could not and cannot co-exist with the absolute purity of the nature that both the Father possessed. With this dilemma and the consequences thereof having come under thorough review, with matchless love the Father and His Son having considered the potential that mankind whom they so loved, could be consumed should they ever consent to iniquity, had pity on the race they were yet to create, and proceeding from the bounties of their infinite wisdom, not only did the heavenly pair end at deciding to create mankind. Along with this plan to create us, they also covenanted to redeem (save) mankind from the possibility of eternal death, should mankind ever fall into sin. There needed to be an all-sufficient contingency to deal with such an emergency, should it ever arise…
However, this covenant to save us would come at a great cost (loss) to the Father and His Son, as it meant that the Son of YAHUAH, in order to be a Mediator of the covenant or “buffer,” if you like, between the Father YAHUAH and mankind; He would have to sacrifice His Divine Nature (the nature that He shared with the Father), and become a man, in order that He could save us from being consumed by His own fiery divine purity and glory. He would have to become a Mediator with a “muted form,” than the nature that He had shared with His Father as it were and the Divine Nature that He would set aside, would also be the means by which mankind would be redeemed (should they ever eventually fall into sin…even though there was no guarantee that they would fall into sin when created). The Son of YAHUAH would literary give up His life for the salvation of mankind, who were yet to be created. Amazing Love!
What is even more amazing is that, this INFINITE SACRIFICE which would subsequently result in an irrevocable substantial change in the nature of the ONLY Son of YAHUAH, meant that He would NEVER again return to His former nature that He had shared so intimately with His Father. This eternal separation from the Father or from the nature that He had shared with the Father, would quite literary be a death from which there could be no resurrection…and this accounts for why He is “the lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8)
In order to facilitate our creation and existence and in order to secure our redemption, in case we should ever fall into sin, YAHUSHA the Son of YAHUAH literary died to “self” — His former self — His former nature that He had shared with the Father, which gave way to His new nature — the nature of the Son of Man…and then we were consequently created in His likeness (that of the Son of Man). YAHUSHA would literary become a Man after our kind, forever exist a man and forevermore be identified with mankind (who were yet to be created by the way).
But before mankind were created, YAHUAH and His Son created Malakyim — angelic beings whose sole purpose would be to do their bidding in service to mankind. Among these Malakyim, was one who was made after the order of Cherubiym, whom alone were permitted to dwell and serve in the immediate presence and vicinity of the throne of the Father YAHUAH. He name was Lucifer and this Cherub rebelled against YAHUAH on account of the Son of Man whom he refused to bow down before, because by the time Malakyim were created, YAHUSHA the Son of YAHUAH had already made the INFINITE SACRIFICE, and partaken the nature of mankind (He was now the Son of Man as well as the Son of YAHUAH. This is why Scripture says Ha’Satan (the Adversary) corrupted His estate by reason of His own angelic beauty, which at that particular time in eternity exceeded that of the Son of Man.
This is also why Ha’Satan hates mankind so much, because he would soon realize that YAHUAH’s plan is to make mankind to become Elohiym, through the sacrifice of His Son. He reasoned that the Divine Nature that was sacrificed by and set aside from YAHUAH’s Son, is what would be given to mankind as the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit), in order that we may become partakers of YAHUSHA’s Divine Nature. This is what makes him to be full of wrath against the remnant of YAHUAH’s people — who overcome sin and become partakers of the Divine Nature of YAHUSHA.
The arch-enemy of mankind knows and understands this plan a lot better than mankind — the heirs of salvation themselves care to appreciate. This is why he directs many worldly distractions and inconveniences onto our path of life, in the hope that we will focus solely on the pursuits of this life for survival, and fail to see the gift of eternal life that the Father and His Son have laid before us, and placed within our reach.
Ha’Satan’s envy is directed at mankind, because YAHUAH and His Son YAHUSHA have covenanted to give us their Divine Nature, which grants us eternal life and makes us to become Elohiym (Gods), which is a title that is above that of the Malakyim…including Ha’Satan himself.
The reason the Scriptures say “no one can come to the Father except through His Son YAHUSHA,” is because of this INFINITE SACRIFICE, by which the Spirit of the Son of YAHUAH has been availed to us as a gift of life, and by which YAHUSHA the Son of YAHUAH comes to dwell within us by faith…so we may become partakers of His Divine Nature; without which no man can come near to the Father, who is a consuming fire of absolute purity, that anything that has the semblance of sin is utterly destroyed by His presence.
Therefore we can only stand in the presence of YAHUAH the Father when we have YAHUSHA dwelling within us as the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit).
The love that the Father and His Son have for us as mankind is so deep and so strong it transcends the bounds of time, well into the realms of eternity; that they would devise such a comprehensive plan by way of sacrifice, just so we can share in their glory…that we like them may also become Elohiym (Gods).
When we have a clear conception of the love and character of YAHUAH, in giving us His Son to literary cease from being an eternally existing Spirit Being and become a man…in order to provide His very own Spirit for our sanctification, but then to also go even further and die as a man and shed His blood to pay the penalty for our sins; then mankind will understand what true love is…
Sadly, to many, YAHUSHA has only been presented to them as the Son of Man, who died on a cruel stake for our sins. Although that in itself is true, it really isn’t all there is to it…no, no, no…there is so much more! YAHUSHA is also the lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world. This is why many cannot relate to the “bland” message of salvation that negates and ignores the infinite sacrifice. They cannot relate to how “a man” can die for them so that they may live. Some even point out Scriptures which state that an individual dies for his own sins, and misapply this to YAHUSHA due to a lack of an understanding of this mystery of our redemption. But when they understand how Eloah (God) through YAHUSHA died, so that they may have the life that was His, then they will be drawn to Him in love.
Dearly beloved reader, please understand this…in order for the Son of Man – YAHUSHA to have been born as a human being in order to die for your sins and mine, He first of all had to have died as Eloah (God), which resulted in Him becoming a man. He became a man as a result of that INFINITE SACRIFICE that was made before the foundation of the world. But not only that…BOTH these sacrifices were or rather are absolutely essential for our complete salvation. Those who cling only to YAHUSHA’s sacrifice on the stake, where His shed His blood as a man, may have had their sins pardoned (since YAHUSHA died for ALL mankind), but without the gift of YAHUSHA’s Spirit (which He also sacrificed for us), dwelling within them, they cannot obtain eternal life.
Whilst the sacrifice made on the stake when YAHUSHA the Son of Man shed His blood, pays the penalty for our sins and grants us pardon for our trespasses and sins (JUSTIFICATION), this alone does not in fact change our characters. We remain active sinners even with this fact acknowledged in our individual lives. I’m sure all can relate to this. The good news however, is that, it is the sacrifice that was made on our behalf BEFORE the foundation of the world, when YAHUSHA as the Son of YAHUAH died to shed the life-blood of his eternal soul — His very own Spirit or Divine Nature — that transforms (renews) our minds and fits us for the coming Kingdom of Eternal Righteousness. Without this transformation (SANCTIFICATION) from within, we do not have eternal life…because eternal life is only available to us through YAHUSHA’s Spirit, which He sacrificed and set aside for us when He was slain before the foundation of the world, and became a man. The very fact that He became “flesh” is testament to the fact that He did in effect sacrifice His Divine Nature.
It is important now more than ever before, to seek YAHUSHA’s presence and to invite Him to come and dwell within our bodily temples by faith daily, moment by moment until we are so full of His presence that it will no longer be us who live, but YAHUSHA who lives and manifests Himself fully in us.
This is the ONLY power against all manner of sin. It is YAHUSHA’s own victory over sin that He grants to us by faith, which empowers us to also obtain victory over sin in our own lives. It is His Righteousness that He imparts to us in a very real and powerful way, that becomes ours by faith, when we have Him dwelling within us.
It is because of this that we know for certain that the TRINITY belief is the worst form of heresy, since that particular doctrine claims that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have “always” existed as three distinct and separate co-eternal beings in one (whatever that means).
The Sacred Scriptures make it abundantly clear that the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is in fact YAHUSHA’s Spirit and not some abstruse, obscure, non-descript “third person of the trinity.” If YAHUSHA and the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) have always existed as distinct and separate individuals, it ultimately means that YAHUSHA did not sacrifice anything!
Rather, YAHUSHA possesses a DUAL NATURE, and the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is YAHUSHA Himself in verity…it is HIS Spirit!
We may speak of YAHUSHA as a “person” and speak of the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) as a “person,” but we must NEVER separate the two from YAHUSHA, for it can never be so…
YAHUSHA sacrificed Himself – BOTH body and Spirit in order to redeem us. The person of YAHUSHA must be understood in this light. It is HE who has provided His Spirit as a regenerating agency, a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin — and He has done so at an enormous and eternal cost to Himself!
However, knowing that the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) is YAHUSHA’s Spirit, is meaningless if we don’t understand the significance of YAHUSHA’s sacrifice in setting aside His Spirit, which occurred at the time before the foundation of the world when He was slain of the Father and became a man. Why would YAHUSHA sacrifice His Spirit? For what purpose did He make this sacrifice?
The theory of truth, unaccompanied by the Ruah Ha’Qodesh, cannot quicken the soul or sanctify the heart. One may be familiar with the commands and promises of the Scriptures; but unless the Spirit of Elohiym sets the truth home, the character will not be transformed. Without the enlightenment of the Spirit, men will not be able to distinguish truth from error, and they will fall under the masterful temptations and deceptions of Ha’Satan.
Most believers have at least “some” understanding of the necessity of YAHUSHA’s death on the cruel stake. They realize that YAHUSHA came to pay the penalty for sin on our behalf and that His death has made it possible for us to be reconciled to YAHUAH and restored to a right standing with Him.
Most believe that YAHUSHA’s death has granted us eternal life. But this is not the entire truth….Whilst YAHUSHA’s death has made it possible for us to gain eternal life, but His death has not insured our attaining it.
In other words, YAHUSHA “died for all men” (1 Jn. 2:2; 2 Cor. 5:14; 1 Pet. 3:18) – yet not “all men” are going to be saved! There are going to be many professing believers who shall never enter into His Kingdom (See Mat. 7:21-23). Many of these people will have believed (even accepted) that YAHUSHA died for their sins but will remain unchanged by that fact – they will refuse to be transformed into His likeness and He will declare to them: “I never knew you, depart from Me”
The truth is that “Justification by Faith” is simply not enough. It would be enough if you were to die immediately after your acceptance of YAHUSHA’s substitutionary death on your behalf (like the thief on the cross), but this is never going to be enough for those who continue living or who will be alive at His Second Coming.
There has to be something more in the life of the believer than Justification. YAHUSHA said that we must be “born again from above.” He taught that there must be a new life created within us transforming us into His image. There must be a power working from within, a new life from above, before man can be changed from sin to set-apartness. That power is the Spirit of YAHUSHA. His grace alone can quicken the lifeless faculties of the soul, and attract it to YAHUAH…to set-apartness
We must grow in the grace until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of YAHUAH, into a perfect man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of YAHUSHA (2 Pet. 3:18; Eph. 4:13)
This process of growth – having YAHUSHA dwelling within us that we are transformed to become like Him – is called Sanctification, and is an absolute necessity for our receiving Eternal Life.
BOTH Justification (the forgiveness of sins on the basis of our faith in His death on the cruel stake) and Sanctification (the removal of Sin from our characters) are essential in the life of the believer. Justification was accomplished on the stake, when YAHUSHA took on our sins and paid the penalty for our transgression. This particular work of YAHUSHA is “laid to our account” or “imputed” through the simple act of accepting YAHUSHA’s sacrifice on our behalf — without any work of our own being involved.
Sanctification, however, is not the work of a moment – it is the work of a lifetime. It is still YAHUSHA’s work none-the-less, but it is accomplished in the life of the believer throughout their lifetime. It is the ongoing process of YAHUSHA’s work in our minds and in our hearts that transforms us into His image and enables us to live a life of obedience and victory. This work of Sanctification is “imparted” to us (not just laid to our account) – that is, it is implanted in us in a way that is both very real and very powerful!
The righteousness by which we are justified is imputed. The righteousness by which we are sanctified is imparted. The first is our title to heaven; the second is our fitness for the coming Kingdom of Righteousness. Both are YAHUSHA’s doing: our ENTITLEMENT to enter the Kingdom of Righteousness [Justification] and our FITNESS for it [Sanctification] are found in the Righteousness of YAHUSHA.
How YAHUSHA accomplishes both of these things is explained through the mystery of the INFINITE SACRIFCE – through YAHUSHA’s double-fold sacrifice in literally giving His Life for us. In taking our humanity and dying in our place, He has accomplished the first (Justification). In sacrificing His Spirit for us, and then giving it to us; He accomplishes the second (Sanctification).
YAHUSHA came in order that we might have “eternal life,” (Jn. 3:16,36) but “eternal life can be granted only to those who become partakers of YAHUSHA’s divine nature, by having Him come and dwell in their bodily temples by faith, as the Comforter.
This was YAHUSHA’s ultimate purpose in sacrificing both His body and soul (or spirit) for us . The Comforter is the Ruah Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) — the soul of his life, the efficacy of his people, the called out and chosen ones…the light and life of the world. With His Spirit YAHUSHA sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.
In sacrificing and then giving to us the gift of His Spirit, YAHUSHA gave to man the highest good that heaven could bestow, and He expects that we will become partakers of His divine nature while in this world. And so, if YAHUSHA expects us to partake of His divine nature and the partaking of His divine nature is accomplished through the “Spirit”, therefore we can be reasonably sure that the “Spirit” that implants YAHUSHA’s divine nature in us is, in fact, YAHUSHA’s Spirit — it IS His Divine Nature!
YAHUSHA promised that He would “come to us” – that He would not leave us “comfortless” – that He would be here “in our midst” – that He would be “with” us “always, even unto the end of the world” (Jn. 14:18; Mat. 18:20, Joel 2:27; Mat. 28:20). How could anyone but YAHUSHA Himself in the person of His Spirit make His presence a reality for us?
If our eternal destiny hinges on our being partakers of the divine nature, then we need to understand clearly what it means to be “partakers of His divine nature.” Does being a partaker of His divine nature mean that we will simply become “good” people? Does it mean that we are only to become “nice, honest, loving, trustworthy people?” It means so much more than that! Certainly we will be all of these things, because YAHUSHA is all of these things. But YAHUSHA is so much more than just a nice, loving person – and we are to become like Him in ways that go far beyond being honest, or trustworthy, or even loving and nice!
Now here’s the clincher…
When YAHUSHA was here on this earth, He was very nearly stoned to death for claiming to be the Son of YAHUAH – thus making Himself to be Eloah. You can read about this in John 10:24-38. The hearers were very angry with YAHUSHA because He claimed to be “One” with the Father (vs. 30) YAHUSHA asked them for which good work they were stoning Him (vs. 32), and they replied: “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be Eloah” (vs. 33).
YAHUSHA’s response to them is not only interesting; it is also full of meaning and truth (a truth that we have been reticent to believe). YAHUSHA said: “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I SAID, YOU ARE ELOHIYM!'” (vs. 34) .
YAHUSHA’s mission to redeem man involves much more than simply “forgiving us our sins.” YAHUSHA’s purpose in sacrificing Himself goes far beyond that. YAHUSHA sacrificed Himself not only to restore man to his original image, but to “recreate” man in HIS own image. YAHUSHA intends to elevate man to a state above that of even the most glorious Angels in heaven!
So then, what exalted position and honor could be conferred upon man that would make them above angels who have never sinned? YAHUSHA intends that we shall literally become “Sons of YAHUAH” (not merely one of His creations — Rom. 8:14, 19; 9:26; Gal. 3:26, 4:6; Mat. 5:9; Lk. 20:36). He designs that we shall “be a counterpart of the very throne of Elohiym. The Father intends that we shall be “joint-heirs with YAHUSHA (Rom. 8:17) — reigning with YAHUSHA (2 Tim. 2:12; Rev. 20:6) and sitting with Him upon His Throne! (Rev. 3:21).
YAHUSHA intends to so fully recreate Himself in His people that they will be elevated to a status equal to His own: “If ye be YAHUSHA’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Gal. 3:29 KJV).
Could this fact be what will invite a death sentence upon the remnant people of YAHUAH? Could their own claim of being “Sons of YAHUAH,” be taken to be blasphemous, as it did to their Redeemer and King?
We shall forever be indebted to YAHUSHA for making a way possible through self-sacrifice, for us to be forgiven and for the power to be like Him. YAHUSHA will have a remnant of individuals on the earth, numbering 144000, who will so totally be partakers of His nature that they will literally be like Him. They will be included in the councils of Elohiym and will be responsible with YAHUSHA as joint/heirs; for carrying out the Father’s Will and for executing His commands. This group will be, in the eyes of the Angels, the rest of the redeemed, and the unfallen worlds — rulers with YAHUSHA throughout the Eternal ages.
We shall not be “ELOHIYM” due to our own inherent nature of being — we will never be independently Divine — but we will so fully partake of YAHUSHA’s divine nature that we shall be like Him – a perfect blending of the human and the divine.
By partaking the divine nature of YAHUSHA, we shall participate in all the privileges that are His – including being able to see YAHUAH face to face! (Rev. 21:22-24)
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of YAHUAH and of YAHUSHA our Master; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and set-apartness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.” (2 Pet. 1:2-4).
This is….”the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his set-apart and called out ones: To whom YAHUAH would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is YAHUSHA in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:26-27)
Praise, honour and esteem be to YAHUSHA — the lamb who sits upon the throne, and to YAHUAH the Father.
